Black Hat SEO

Black Hat SEO is a term which refers to any search optimisation technique which is deemed unethical, misleading or frowned-upon by the search engines, regardless of how effective it may be.

As mentioned earlier in the site, websites which contain your key words are critical to SEO. However, within the black hat environment, some webmasters choose to undertake a method known as key word stuffing. This means squeezing your chosen key words into the content as many times as possible or even concealing them within the site (by making text the same colour as the website background).

Commenting on blogs simply for the purpose of advertising (and many people use this blog for that purpose), automated link-farming automated spamming are all examples of black hat SEO which, in the past, have proven to be quite effective. However, in more recent time, the algorithms used by search engines to determine a sites relevancy are able to pick up on these techniques. This means that black hat SEO is becoming far more of a short term fix as often, sites are temporarily or permanently banned for its use.

As a self-proclaimed SEO professional, I can easily accede on what you’ve said. But, one crucial point for all webmasters to always keep in mind is that Google will rank your website at the top if you collect high-quality Dofollow backlinks to your site with proper anchored text. Do that, and nothing else really makes a difference.
